• Spot checks of suspicious moles or lesions
• Full body mole checks
• Biopsies for suspicious moles or dermatological conditions
• Liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy) for warts, certain skin lesions
• Surgical removal of concerning skin lesions, with follow up checks/treatments.
• Excision of cosmetic moles, skin tags, warts
• Treatment of keloid or hypertrophic scars
• We also treat a variety of dermatological skin conditions such as acne, fungal infections, and persistent rashes.
• We also offer Radiofrequency Surgitron treatment for mole removals.

Annual Skin Check

If you have moles, warts or other lesions of concern, have them checked once a year at least, or immediately if there are new changes, particularly if a mole has become significantly darker or raised, developed different colors or an unusual irregular shape, starts to itchy, catch or bleed.

If you have fair skin, a previous history of multiple sunburn episodes or sunbed use, a personal or family history of skin cancers, do have your skin checked every 6 months, ideally by the same doctor each time.

The peace of mind alone is worth it.

Mole, Wart, and Cyst Removal

We provide surgical and non surgical removal of moles, warts, and cysts at our clinic.

This includes full, punch or shave biopsies, and cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen).

Our highly skilled doctors will provide a full consultation prior to your surgery; discuss your options and each of their risks and benefits; and advice on post-surgery wound care.

All suspicious lesions are sent to the laboratory for analysis, and results conveyed to you during your follow up visit, or by email /phone if this has been requested. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for results to be available.

You may require a subsequent procedure depending on the result of your biopsy. You may be referred to the public health system, or another specialist for this.

If you have private health insurance such as Southern Cross, the cost of these procedures are often fully covered.

Dr Rachel Lee is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. This means that she has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer.
